Abstracts

Bad news. Nigel has a confession to make. Nigel has backslid 😦

Nigel has returned to an old addiction. Nigel didn’t mean for it to happen, it just did.

Nigel has returned…to CIRCLE PATTERNS!!!

UnNamed abstract #2 by ~NigeltheTaniwha on deviantART

This particular one has already been CIRCLES!!! in an exhibition.

UnNamed abstract #1 by ~NigeltheTaniwha on deviantART

Here is a recycled one!

Neither of them have names yet though 😦 I’m thinking of going for a nameing theme for my abstracts. Like giving them people names or nameing them after expletitives like “Crap!”

So what do you think of my regression into circles? Don’t forget to leave a comment and share with your friends 🙂

Braded bead bracelet by ~NigeltheTaniwha on deviantART

A beaded jewellery set. I’m probably going to sell it or give it away. I made it to practice stringing beads and multiple strands and also crimping beads. I probably won’t make another bracelet with a clasp or anything like that since I discovered that I can’t put it on by myself.

Plastic bags! Made out of…plastic bags…
I weaved in painted wooded beads into the second one. I made the plarn myself. The bags are crocheted with a K hook. I have three more bag colours I can use. It’s a good idea to do something with plastic bags, even if you just put it in the recycling bin. Seriously, I hate seeing dirty plastic bags and wrappings everywhere. Keep them off the street! Keep them out of nature!
I will be making more of these and selling them, probably to the supermarket 😉

doilie process by ~NigeltheTaniwha on deviantART

My first crochet doilie! I don’t know what it is about doilies that I’ve suddenly become obsessed with. Maybe it’s the name? It reminds me of grandma! 🙂 Who loves their grandma? Me!

What will hopefully become a netted necklace.

I finally got around to doing some quilting!

I’m using a different setting on my camera next time 😦
